Sugar Gliders
by David E. Boruchowitz is a quick and easy to read overview of owning sugar gliders. It covers what makes gliders a great pet, what everyday life with gliders is like, feeding them, keeping them (and their cage) neat, health, and behavior. Having just adopted a pair of sugar gliders, I’ve done tons of research, so most of what was covered in the book I already knew. It is always nice to have confirmation that I’m on the right track, though, so I am glad I read it. It didn’t go much into the very important how to’s of bonding, though, so that is a drawback to the book. I highly recommend this book as a place to start for anyone thinking of adopted (at least two) sugar gliders.
