Jill, an obstetrical intern, discovers a pattern among maternal and newborn complications at the hospital where she works. Her superiors tell her in no uncertain terms she is wrong and to give up her search to find what is going on.
I literally could not put Embryo down and so I finished it around 1am. It is fast-paced and well written. I was pretty surprised at who the culprit was, though looking back I could see the signs. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys medical thrillers!
