A group of children discover a hidden valley, but it’s not empty as they had assumed it would be. Two criminals and a missing man are hiding in an old, abandoned farmhouse. When they capture most of the kids, the remaining one must find a way to free his sisters and friends.
My 9- and 11-year-old sons enjoyed The Mystery of Hidden Valley. It’s a cute story and, while it refers to previous adventures presumably from other books, you don’t need to read the others first. I recommend this book as a family read-aloud!
