Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil Gaiman

Odd meets some unusual animals and soon discovers they can speak because they are gods who have been transformed by the frost giants. Together, they must find a way to Asgard to defeat the frost giants and bring spring to Midgard. Odd and the Frost Giants is an absolutely adorable story with beautiful pictures scattered throughout. My 10- and 12-year-old sons (and I) enjoyed the book so much. My younger son was quite hopeful there would be more Odd books to read in the future, that’s how much he liked it. I very highly recommend this book to people of all ages! It makes a very excellent read-aloud.
