The Floating Feldmans by Elyssa Friedland
Reading The Floating Feldmans was a mixed bag. At times it dragged terribly and I found my mind wandering while other times it was super fun and interesting. The third part, which really is just a glorified epilogue, had the strangest dialogue ever. The long paragraphs of exposition given to the other half of a couple who are supposedly very close didn’t sound real. It should’ve been told by the narrator, not by a character. I did end up caring about what happened to several of the characters so even when it dragged I never wanted to quit reading. I recommend The Floating Feldmans to people who like character driven books.
